The Vanguards Network, hosted by Glasgow City Council, met to discuss again the theme of financing district energy.
The event aim was to share innovative solutions for affordable finance for low carbon district energy by bringing Vanguard local authorities and investors together to discuss experiences and identify viable ways forward.
Roundtable discussions were interspersed with presentations on financing topics from Arup, Brodies LLP, CHPA, Econergy, Green Investment Bank, Islington Borough Council, Marksman Consulting LLP, Santander, Scottish Green Investment Portfolio and Warrington Borough Council
We are very grateful for financial contributions from Econergy, Edinburgh Centre for Carbon Innovation, E.ON, Powerpipe, Scotland’s 2020 Climate Group, UK Government Research Councils’ (RC-UK) Energy Programme and Vital Energi.
